This was messy play with the spaghetti and rice. The toddler’s loved playing with this and feeling the different textures, whilst the older ones made bowls of food and pretended they was a chef at the restaurant. We also learnt what animals can be found in the sea.
This was messy play for ages range from 0-3 years the children could feel different textures and identified the colours and letters where we repeated the letters E, I and D for them to understand and learn. We also we sat down in a circle and read the book about Eid.
We played a game using our fine motor skills and used the tweezers and placed the food into the caterpillars mouth. This was timed how many you could do in the time given which helps with hand-eye coordination. We also learnt about caterpillars and how they change into a butterfly. We learnt about what foods are healthy too and the different colours they come in.
